New Titleist Velocity balls deliver more speed, distance
A decade after its first introduction, Titleist has announced the new 2022 Titleist Velocity golf ball, which drops in Australian and New Zealand golf stores from today.
The latest iteration of the popular series is engineered to provide increased speed with high flight for golfers with one main objective – long distance. This is accomplished via a new higher compression core and reformulated cover combination that delivers the longest, best performing Velocity yet.

“This golf ball is fun for our team,” said Frederick Waddell, Director of Golf Ball Product Management, Titleist. “We’re designing for a golfer looking for distance, and that allows us to be singularly focused on speed and overall distance through the bag.”
On debut, the 2022 Velocity will be available in White only. However, Titleist has teased three new ball colours coming in October including Matte Orange, Matte Green, and the all-new Matte Blue.
The 2022 Velocity golf balls are priced at A$43.95/NZ$59.95 per dozen and will be available in Standard White Velocity (#1-4) while the new Matte Orange, Matte Green and New Matte Blue will hit retail stores beginning October 1st in #00, 11, 22 and 33.
