Skratch TV plays the dusty fairways of Coober Pedy

US director and filmmaker Erik Anders Lang is back for a third round of “Adventures in Golf”.

The all-new season kicked off on the frozen lakes of Minnesota last week but in a 180 degree twist, Lang lands on the dusty fairways of Coober Pedy’s grassless golf course in South Australia.

While Coober Pedy is famous for its opals, Lang explores the less-known aspects of the remote desert town including its unique underground houses and of course the 18-hole golf course carved into the sparse land surrounding the town.

Sit back and enjoy this excellent look at the only course in the world with reciprocal rights to the home of golf, St. Andrews (but only the 9-hole course)….and it’s right here in Australia!
