St Andrews Old Course blanketed in snow

While it happens each and every year, there’s still nothing like seeing the Home Of Golf buried under a blanket of snow.

St Andrews has posted a series of images to social media showing the world famous course almost unrecognisable bar the world famous Swilcan Bridge spanning a still-flowing Swilcan Burn on the Old Course.

The course was hoping to re-open this week but with poor weather continuing to plague the area the world famous layout continues to remain unplayable for now.
