PGA IGI wins prestigious Education Award

The PGA International Golf Institute’s burgeoning reputation as a global leader in golf management education has been strengthened with its success at the Queensland Education and Training International (QETI) Awards for Excellence.

Queensland Education and Training International (QETI) is the lead agency for the State’s international education and training industry. It provides coordination, leadership and strategic direction to support industry sustainability in contributing to the long term growth of the Queensland economy.

The PGA IGI’s success in the category ‘Outstanding Pathway Provider’ ahead of prominent higher education providers exemplifies its commitment to best practice.

This award illustrates the strength of its links with schools, higher education providers like Griffith University and with key industry organisations such as the PGA of Australia.

“It’s a tremendous honor to receive such an award and it is a credit to the extended team which supports the PGA IGI operations including staff, trainers and stakeholders,” said CEO Tracey Howley.

“Our staff work tirelessly towards best practice for the organisation and our students, and this award is an affirmation of that hard work in what was a challenging year.

The PGA IGI’s Diploma of Golf Management provides a number of exit and pathway points taught in multiple delivery formats providing flexible options for students with diverse career and education outcome requirements.
