Koepka, bookies agree on major title haul
With the PGA Championship win still fresh in his mind, Brooks Koepka is quite confident he’ll reach double digits when it comes to winning major championships.
While that would put him into the company of several golf immortals, bookmakers obviously agree with the big-hitting American star.

Already listed as the favourite for the US Open at Pebble Beach next month, Las Vegas bookies have Koepka odds-on at $1.30 to win more than seven majors.
There’s not a lot of value in backing him to win less than eight majors either (he already has four), where is he at the prohibitive odds of $1.50.
If he can win eight majors, Koepka would join the great Tom Watson’s career haul.
And should he go on from that and win more only the truly greats of the game have achieved just such success.
They include Jack Nicklaus with 18 big ones, Tiger Woods (15), Walter Hagen (11), Ben Hogan (9) and Gary Player (9).
“I think if you keep doing what you’re supposed to, you play good, you peak at the right time,” said Koepka.
“Like I said, I think sometimes the majors are the easiest to win.”
“I don’t see any reason it can’t get to double digits.”
There’s plenty of time too…Koepka doesn’t turn 50 until 2040.
