Norman puts $60m luxury Florida home up for sale

The Shark is on the move. Former World No.1 Greg Norman is pulling up stumps and moving out of his luxury Florida house that has been his home for the past 30 years.

The asking price? Well at $59,900,000 – let’s just say you’ll need to win the lotto just to afford the deposit.

Of course you do get a fair bit for your money including a 10-bedroom, 18-bathroom house, a coach house, pool house, tennis house, boat house, carriage house, beach house, private beach, US Open-sized tennis court, boat dock, elevator, wine cellar, home theatre, bar, gourmet kitchen and much more.

On top of all that, Tiger Woods lives just up the road.

It’s not clear where the 65-year-old is headed to next but with Florida facing one of the largest outbreaks of COVID-19 in the US and Norman recently recovering from the virus, he may be looking at other areas of the US where he can settle down.

Norman is one of the most successful golfers of all time. He held the world number one position for 331 weeks, which was a record until his neighbour Tiger Woods broke that mark with a total of 683 weeks.

He won 20 PGA Tour titles, 14 European Tour titles and 33 titles at home in Australia amongst many others around the world and was inducted into the World Golf Hall Of Fame in 2001.

Since finishing his playing career, Norman has gone on to a very successful career peddling everything from course design, wine, clothing, restaurants and even Greg Norman Signature beef jerky.
