The Shark returns home to Cobra Golf

It was a case of a happy homecoming this week when Puma Golf announced the return of Australian golf legend Greg Norman to its Tour staff.

The Great White Shark has revealed he will be collaborating on product development, act as an ambassador and play Cobra clubs in events and tournaments.

And Norman’s reaction was typical Australian: “It’s about damn time,” he grinned.

“My golf career has been an incredible journey, and a huge part of that voyage was my relationship with Cobra Golf in the prime of my career.”

“I’ve now come the full circle with Cobra and to see where Cobra has been, it disappeared a little bit and to where it is today and where it can go is testimony to this great brand.”

“Cobra Golf continues to enhance the game with cutting-edge technology and products that help golfers of all skill levels play better and enjoy the game.”

“I’m proud of the growth the company has experienced thus far and I’m excited about Cobra’s potential.”

“It’s a huge honour to become re-involved with Cobra Golf as it is today―a major player in the industry.”

According to the president of Cobra Puma Golf, Bob Philion: “It feels right to have Greg not only back on the course playing our clubs, but also behind the scenes, playing an intricate role in the development of our products and overall business.”

The Shark’s bag and headwear will showcase the brand’s logo, and will exclusively feature Cobra Golf clubs, including the recently-debuted BiO CELL Driver, BiO CELL Fairway and BiO CELL Hybrid; AMP CELL Pro Irons and Tour Trusty Wedges.
