Woods makes virtual return in PGA TOUR 2K23

Tiger Woods is back. Well, that’s not quite true but the GOAT’s virtual return is the next best thing we have while the real Tiger is busy recuperating from injuries sustained in a near-death car crash in 2021.

2K has announced that the 15-time major champion will be the face of the upcoming PGA TOUR 2K23, which is set to drop worldwide on Tuesday, October 11, 2022.

Woods is the cover star for PGA TOUR 2K23 along with advising the game development team via his role as executive director. As part of his exclusive deal with 2K, the 46-year-old will also be a playable in-game pro.

“It’s not only great to be back on the cover of a video game, but the Executive Director role makes this a truly unique opportunity,” said Woods. “2K is the perfect partner for me and I am excited to continue impacting the game and culture of golf beyond my play on the PGA Tour.”

Woods heads an impressive list of pros available at launch including good friend and World No.7 Justin Thomas, Lexi Thompson, Tony Finau, Lydia Ko, Collin Morikawa, Will Zalatoris, Brooke Henderson and many more.
