Adam Scott hosts inaugural Junior Classic
UPDATE: We advise that due to circumstances beyond his control Adam will be unable to attend the Adam Scott Junior Classic at Sanctuary Cove on Thursday 1st December 2011.
Australia’s highest ranked golfer Adam Scott, winner of the 2011 WGC-Bridgestone Invitational in Akron, Ohio, will host the inaugural Adam Scott Junior Classic to be held at the Palms Golf Course, Sanctuary Cove on December 1st.
The junior event has attracted a capacity field of 136 golfers eager to try their skills on the new Palms layout. Young golfers with varying skill levels, between the ages of 10 and 18, will test themselves under competition conditions and go head to head to win the inaugural trophy.

Adam will also conduct a coaching clinic between 2.30pm and 3.00pm for the competitors on the day, which will also include Foxsports Golf Show host Brett Ogle.
“The event concept was developed by the club and with Adam as our No 1 member, the club were keen to get him involved. He was happy to lend his name and time and join in our efforts to develop Junior Golf ” said Phil Sweeney, Junior Coordinator of the club.
“We are also fortunate the event, in its first year, has been added as a premier event and promoted by the Greg Norman Junior Golf Foundation and the Gold Coast District Association and we are looking forward to a great day”.
The Adam Scott Junior Classic 2011 is certain to attract a large amount of exposure and will be an event that the young stars of the future will remember.
The Adam Scott Junior Classic golf event will commence on Thursday 1st December 2011 at 8:30am with a shotgun start, followed by presentations and the coaching session between approximately 2.00pm and 3.00pm.
