Grace Kim and Gabriela Ruffels have secured top-10 results on the Epson Tour with Kim taking a share of 4th position and Ruffels sharing 8th place in the ANN Arbor’s Road to the LPGA on Sunday.

The event was won by Finland’s Kiria Riihijarvi, who carded four birdies and went bogey-free on the back nine to sign for a 3-under 69 to finish at 10-under-par. Kim finished at 5-under, with Ruffels at 3-under.

Ruffels’ round included an ace on the 12th.

“It was really cool. It was my third hole in one and the first one I could actually see, so that was cool. I wasn’t having a great day, I was even for the day, and I wanted something to happen so that was pretty good and it got my round going.”

Karis Davidson was the next best Aussie in a share of 20th at even par.

Hira Naveed (T53), Julienne Soo (T58) and Soo Jin Lee (T64) were the last of the Aussies to make the cut with Robyn Choi sitting out the weekend.

At No. 2, Grace Kim leads the Down Under assault in the Race for the Card money list with US$50,744 after eight events. In May, Kim secured a five shot win at the IOA Golf Classic in Florida for her first win as a professional.

Ruffels has moved to 15th on the money list with US$32,346. The top-10 players on the Epson Tour money list come season’s end will earn an LPGA Tour card.

The 2022 season includes 21 tournaments with the top-10 finalised at the conclusion of the Epson Tour Championship on October 6-9 at LPGA International in Daytona Beach.
