The action will get underway on Wednesday with the official tournament pro am followed by the first round of play on Thursday.

Friday’s second round will be complimented by a Ladies Luncheon and Fashion Parade, aimed at helping to raise funds for the event’s charitable partner, ToyBox International.

The action will culminate on Saturday and Sunday where the top half of the field will battle it out for the title with the eventual Champion to be crowned on Sunday afternoon.

A free event for all, spectators will be asked to offer a gold coin donation to ToyBox International, an extremely worthwhile charity dedicated to raising funds for Australia’s sick and disadvantaged children.

With $110,000 up for grabs, the 2011 Brunel Western Australian PGA Championship winner will secure for themselves the lion’s share in addition to a spot in this season’s biggest golf tournaments including the Emirates Australian Open, Australian PGA Championship presented by Coca-Cola, BMW NZ Open and the JBWere Masters which this year will boast fantastic international fields.

The WA PGA Championship has been made possible with the support of Brunel Energy, an organisation operating in all corners of the world, specialising in providing professional and technical personnel to clients throughout the energy sector.

Cellarbrations, Coca-Cola Amatil, Channel 9, Accor and Equis Lake are amongst the other major sponsors of the Brunel WA PGA Championship.

The 2011 Brunel WA PGA Championship will take place on The Lakes course at the Novotel Vines Resort and Country Club from October 20-23.

The Brunel WA PGA Championship will be sanctioned by the PGA Tour of Australasia with all prizemoney counting towards to the 2011 Order of Merit.
