Australian Masters returns to Hungtingdale

The 2015 Australian Masters will return to its original home at Huntingdale Golf Club for the 37th staging of the tournament from 19-22 November IMG announced today.

Huntingdale Golf Club has hosted the event for 30 consecutive years, from its inaugural staging in 1979 through to 2008.

The 2015 Australian Masters will return to its original home at Huntingdale Golf Club for the 37th staging of the tournament from 19-22 November.

Huntingdale Golf Club is synonymous with the Masters, having hosted the event for 30 consecutive years, from its inaugural staging in 1979 through to 2008.

The Australian Masters will be sanctioned by the PGA Tour of Australasia and PGA of Australia Chief Executive Brian Thorburn said it was great to see the Masters returning to Huntingdale:

“We look forward to another successful Masters at its traditional home. The Masters is synonymous with the Summer of Golf and will kick start the Triple Crown in Australia.”

Upon the announcement, David Rollo, Vice President-Director of Golf IMG Australia and New Zealand commented:

“Given the integral part that Huntingdale has played in the rich history of the Australian Masters, we are delighted to have the opportunity to return and see the Club feature in our venue rotation policy.”

The Masters will be broadcast on the Seven Network across Australia for five hours on each of the four days.
