DP World Tour confirms start of 2023 schedule
The DP World Tour has announced the opening tournaments of its 2022/2023 schedule.
The six events will kick off with the Australian PGA Championship in Brisbane at the Royal Queensland Golf Club and the Joburg Open in South Africa both on November 24. The Australian PGA Championship will feature a record $2 million purse thanks to the DP World Tour’s return.

The opening events of the new season will be co-sanctioned in Australia between the DP World Tour and the Australasian PGA Tour and in Africa with the Sunshine Tour.
Next up on the calendar is the ISPS Handa Australian Open and South African Open from December 1-4 followed by the Alfred Dunhill Championship at Leopard Creek Country Club (Dec 8-11).
Closing out 2022 is the AfrAsia Bank Mauritius Open from December 15-18. The previously tri-sanctioned tournament has been on a COVID-hiatus since 2019.
The full schedule is set to be announced later this year.
