In the middle of a US tour, which culminates with the US Women’s Amateur starting 2nd August at the Westchester Country Club in New York State, Kim’s results have been outstanding.

With exemptions into Symetra Tour events guaranteed to the top-2 finishes at each event, the WAPT series is providing dividends for Kim who took full advantage of her first win with a top-10 result in her maiden start on the Symetra Tour last month in Cincinnati.

With another start guaranteed following her second win in Texas, Kim will be aiming to obtain enough WAPT points to secure her place in Stage Two of the LPGA Tour School. The top-5 players on the season’s WAPT Player of the Year program will receive exemptions into Stage II of LPGA Q-School.

The 2021 Australian Amateur champion is currently 30th in the World Amateur Golf Rankings, the highest position the 20-year-old has achieved to date.
