Jeep Pro-Am switches to The Glades
Fiat Chrysler Australia has recently announced that the Jeep Pro-Am – Australia’s richest pro-am event – will once again be staged on the Gold Coast from October 8th-11th.
‘The Jeep’ will this year be played at the Greg Norman-designed Glades Golf Club as the course renovations being undertaken by Graham Marsh at the event’s regular home, RACV Royal Pines Resort, are in full swing in readiness for December’s Australian PGA Championship.
In making the announcement, President and CEO of Fiat Chrysler Australia, Veronica Johns, said the company was proud of what they achieved in 2013 and are looking forward to the future.
“We are confirming our commitment to this award-winning event with the continued investment of $200,000 prize money for the 2014 event.” Ms Johns said.
“We are proud to support the event and the lucrative opportunity it presents for Australia’s touring professionals. It also provides a premium and unique experience for our customers to play in this key golfing event in beautiful Queensland.”
The Jeep Pro-Am will once again be a limited field event, with 50 of the country’s finest professionals teaming up with 50 amateurs from across the country.
