Jones wins Token Homemate Cup
Australia’s Brendan Jones has won the Token Homemate Cup following a superb final round nine-under 62 at the Token Tado Country Club in Nagoya, Japan.
“That was probably one of the best rounds of my life,” Jones said to the media after his win. “To do it in front of so many people in the gallery, it’s just a dream start to 2012.”

The 37-year-old came in to the final day in equal 6th place but a birdie at his first hole of the day signalled what was to come.
Jones rattled off a total of nine birdies, including four in his final five holes, to close the tournament at 15-under (269) – two strokes ahead of Japan’s Ryuichi Oda.
Jones took home ￥26,000,000 (AUD$310,000) for his 11th victory on the Japanese Tour and his first of the season.
Steve Conran was the next best placed Aussie at 4-under and equal 19th, one stroke ahead of New Zealand’s Richard Lee.
David Smail and Paul Sheehan finished the day at three and four over the card, respectively.
