Kiwi star Fox commits to Aussie summer events
New Zealand’s Ryan Fox is having the season of his career and he’s bringing that winning form Down Under for the Australian PGA and Australian Open this summer.
A DP World Tour regular, the 35-year old has notched up a win, three runner-up finishes and a total of seven top-10 results this year alone.

Fox won the Ras Al Khaimah Classic in February in the UAE and backed that up with three second-place finishes at the Irish, Dutch and Soudal Opens.
“I’m very excited to play in Australia again later in the year,” Fox said. “It’s good to have big tournaments back in Australasia and us Kiwis love coming across the Tasman to show up the Aussies on their home soil.”
“I’ve had a good season on the DP World Tour so far, hopefully I’ve got a big finish in me, and then it would be fantastic to wrap up the year with a win, or two, in Australia.”
The Kiwi star is no stranger to these shores having plyed his trade here since turning pro in 2012 and won three times on the Australasian PGA Tour including the 2014 WA Open, 2015 Queensland PGA and the European co-sanctioned 2019 Super 6 Perth.
The World No.48 will join Australians Lucas Herbert, Min Woo Lee and Hannah Green, who have already confirmed their commitment for this summer.
