Lee, Oh head Aussies at LPGA Q-School
The two brightest prospects on the Australian women’s scene, Minjee Lee and Victorian amateur Su Oh, have shown their class once again by qualifying for the LPGA Tour’s Final Stage Q-School in Florida.
Oh finished the four round Stage Two event at Plantation Country Club tied for 3rd at six-under par behind medallist Ginger Howard of the US, while Lee was a shot further back tied for 5th.

Lee turned pro just last month and Oh is expected to declare her intentions to do the same between the second and third stages of Q-School.
“Being a professional has been my goal since the start of the year so I have worked very hard towards it.” said a delighted Oh, after advancing along with fellow Aussies Emma de Groot, Breanna Elliott, Maggie Yuan and amateur Jayde Panos.
Stephane Na, Ellen Davies-Graham, Lauren Hibbert and Justine Lee all failed to advance.
Other prominent names to move forward to the final stage included Volvik Ladies Masters champion Cheyenne Woods and Ladies European Tour members, Ariya Jutanugarn, Valentine Derrey, Maria Balikoeva, Vikki Laing and Camilla Lennarth.
The Final Stage of LPGA Qualifying Tournament will be held from December 3-7 at LPGA International in Daytona Beach, Florida.
The top 20 at final stage will earn category 12 status on the LPGA Tour priority list, while 21-45 will earn category 17 status on the priority list.
