LPGA launches eTour Live matches on World Golf Tour
The first of a series of newly-announced LPGA eTour Live matches went to air overnight with Jessica Korda taking on her sister Nelly at Congressional Country Club’s Blue Course, home to the 2022 and 2027 Women’s PGA Championship.
The matches are part of a esports competition in an exclusive partnership with World Golf Tour (WGT) by Topgolf and follow the lead of the European Tour, who launched the BMW Indoor Invitational series, just last week.
Eight LPGA and Symetra Tour players will go head-to-head in a series of seven nine-hole, online matches twice a week before culminating in a grand final match on June 3rd.
Players can choose from numerous famed courses including the Old Course at St Andrews, which hosted the 2007 and 2013 Women’s British Opens, Oakmont Country Club and Pinehurst No. 2, as well as Erin Hills, The Olympic Club (Lake Course) and Pebble Beach Golf Links.

- Match 2 – Angel Yin vs. Lizette Salas (May 15)
- Match 3 – Jenny Shin vs. Tiffany Joh (May 20)
- Match 4 – Lucy Li vs. Jane Park (May 22)
- Match 5 – Semifinal: winners of Matches 1 and 2 (May 27)
- Match 6 – Semifinal: winners of Matches 3 and 4 (May 29)
- Match 7 – Championship: winners of Matches 5 and 6 (June 3)
