Minjee Lee breaks $1 million mark on LPGA Tour
Western Australian Minjee Lee has broken through the US$ 1 million dollar mark this season for the first time following her top-5 finish at the Canadian Women’s Open in Saskatchewan.
Lee, along with fellow Aussie Su Oh, finished in equal 4th place and seven shots behind Canadian superstar Brooke Henderson, who cruised to victory with nine birdies in her closing 7-under 65.

Lee’s cheque for $88,321 took her season total to US$1,072,845 and her LPGA career earnings to a healthy US$4,135,809.
The West Australian has earned her money the hard way this year securing 10 top-10 placings and claiming just the one victory at the LPGA Volvik Championship back in May.
Katherine Kirk finished the next best of the Aussies with a closing 2-under 70 leaving her at 7-under and in a share of 28th place.
LPGA rookie Hannah Green began the week well but lost her way over the weekend with rounds of 78 and 74 to finish in last place at 68th and 3-over.
