Woods adds Masters hope with press conference
(Houston, TX:) Tiger Woods could be very well be competing next week at the Masters with confirmation he will front the Augusta National media at 1pm next Tuesday (US time).
If so, it will be the first occasion since 2015 Woods will tee-up on the Georgia golfing gem, and also on the 20th anniversary in winning by 12 shots the first of four Masters green jackets.

Woods has not competed since limping off with a horror score of 77 on day one in January’s Dubai Desert Classic and then withdrawing from the second round in Dubai complaining of back spasms.
There has been no official word from Woods’ management team on him competing in next week’s Masters other than Augusta National releasing the pre-Masters interview schedule where Woods name appears.
But then Woods has never faced a media conference to say he’s not contesting an event.
It is also known Woods has been working hard on his game ahead of his second return to full competition since undergoing in late 2015 multiple back surgery.
And if Woods, now aged 41 does tee-up, it will be his 21st Masters showing having missed the cut just once in the season’s traditional first Major.
