Tournament news
Tournament coverage on Golfgrinder is organised around the 2026 men’s professional calendar — January through August on the PGA Tour with the FedEx Cup playoffs concluding at East Lake, plus the four men’s Majors (Masters in April, PGA Championship in May, U.S. Open in June, Open Championship in July). Each tournament page carries the schedule, defending champion, course, purse, field and (during the tournament week) a live leaderboard widget pulling consensus odds from the major bookmakers in the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom. The signature events with $20 million-plus purses — the Memorial Tournament at Muirfield Village in May, the Travelers Championship at TPC River Highlands in June, the BMW Championship at Castle Pines in August — receive deeper coverage with course-fit analysis and player previews. The DPWT Race to Dubai runs in parallel with co-sanctioned Majors and culminates at Jumeirah Golf Estates. The LIV Golf 14-event team format adds an entirely separate calendar with rosters captained by Jon Rahm, Bryson DeChambeau, Brooks Koepka and Cameron Smith. The LPGA carries its own five-Major season culminating in the AIG Women’s Open. Course-week recaps publish Sunday evening (AEST) for each PGA Tour event, with weekly OWGR movement notes from the Monday-morning ranking update.
