The LPGA Tour is the principal women’s professional golf circuit, running ~30 events annually from January to November. Five women’s Majors anchor the season: the Chevron Championship, U.S. Women’s Open, KPMG Women’s PGA, Amundi Evian Championship and AIG Women’s Open. The Race to CME Globe playoff system determines the season-long winner. Recent dominant players include Nelly Korda (2024 Player of the Year), Lydia Ko (2023 Player of the Year and Hall of Fame inductee), Australian Minjee Lee (2022 U.S. Women’s Open champion), Jin Young Ko and Atthaya Thitikul. The LPGA also operates a competitive Symetra (now Epson) Tour as its development circuit. The combined LPGA + DPWT-affiliated Ladies European Tour produces the deepest international women’s schedule of any sport.
